becomes eligible for adoption. A. When a child in the custody of the Department of Human Services becomes eligible for adoption and the child needs a permanent placement, the Department shall notify and disseminate information about the child to licensed child-placing agencies that have requested in writing to receive such notice in order to locate a possible prospective adoptive parent for the child. B. Upon completion of an adoption specified in subsection A of this section, the Department may provide reimbursement of expenses incurred by the child-placing agency for recruiting, training and conducting a home study for the adoptive parent.
