Title 10. Children: Short title - Purpose - Implementation

A.  This act shall be known and may be cited as the "Coordinated
Database System for Children Act".
B.  The purpose of the Coordinated Database System for Children
Act is to design and implement a system that provides data linkages
for the sharing of case information and for aggregate data analysis
for planning, research, outcome evaluation and service coordination.
C.  The system shall be implemented through interagency
agreements and shall utilize a database application that supports
information sharing to reduce duplication, improve service delivery
and allow data analysis for planning, research and evaluation.  The
database application shall be jointly developed, implemented and
utilized by the public agencies responsible for services to children
in this state and private agencies that provide such services
pursuant to a contract with a state agency.
