Eligible recipients - Gifts and contributions. The Executive Director of the Office of Juvenile Affairs shall appoint the chairperson of the Santa Claus Commission. The Commission shall meet at the call of the chairperson on at least a quarterly basis. The chairperson may call such other special meetings as may be necessary. The Commission shall work under the supervision and direction of the Office of Juvenile Affairs. Upon request of the Commission, the Department of Human Services and the Office of Juvenile Affairs shall provide the Commission with a list of the eligible institutions and number of children in such institutions which are eligible to receive gifts pursuant to Section 361 of this title. Said Commission is hereby expressly authorized to receive and accept, for and on behalf of the state, gifts and contributions from any person, firm, or individual, fairly and equally distributing such gifts and contributions to the children eligible for such gifts.
