Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly A railroad company may demand and receive for the transportation of passengers on a branch road, the length of which does not exceed ten miles, a fare not exceeding six cents per mile, and for transportation of property such reasonable rates as are fixed by the company or prescribed by law.
