Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly A person or company owning or operating a railroad that fails to comply with the requirements of or violates section 4955.23 of the Revised Code, for each day during the continuance of such failure or violation, shall forfeit to such city one hundred dollars, to be recovered in a civil action in the city's name against the owner or operator of such railroad, or both, as the city elects. Like recovery may be had for subsequent failures and violations.
