Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly No person or corporation shall willfully interfere with or obstruct any company engaged in laying the track of its railroad across any other railroad, if such company has fully complied with the law and obtained the right to so lay its track. No person or corporation shall obstruct the full operation of any railroad so constructed. A person or corporation which violates this section, for each day of such interference or obstruction, shall pay one thousand dollars, to be recovered by action in the name of the state. Half such recovery shall go to the company so interfered with, and half to the county in which the interference occurs. Such person or corporation is also liable for damages to the party injured.
