Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly Every person in charge of a streetcar who willfully fails to comply with sections 4951.49 and 4951.50 of the Revised Code or to bring the car he has in charge to a stop, or before the way is clear, or he is signaled so to do, causes them to cross the railroad tracks, is personally liable to a person injured by reason of such failure to a penalty of one hundred dollars, to be recovered by civil action at the suit of the state, in the court of common pleas of a county in which such crossing or connection is. The company in whose employ such person is, as well as the person himself, is liable in damages to any person so injured in person or property.
