Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly Whenever railroads refuse or neglect to establish a joint rate for the transportation of persons or property, the public utilities commission may, upon notice to the railroads and after opportunity to be heard, fix and establish such joint rate. If the railroads party thereto fail to agree upon the apportionment of such joint rate within twenty days after service of such order, the commission may, upon a like hearing, issue a supplemental order declaring the apportionment of such joint rate which shall take effect of its own force as part of the original order.
