Ohio Code § 4778.05

Issuance, Expiration, and Renewal of License.

If the state medical board determines under section 4778.03 of the Revised Code that an applicant meets the requirements for a license to practice as a genetic counselor, the secretary of the board shall issue the license to the applicant. The license shall be valid for a two-year period unless revoked or suspended, shall expire on the date that is two years after the date of issuance, and may be renewed for additional two-year periods in accordance with section 4778.06 of the Revised Code.
