Effective: December 14, 2018 Latest Legislation: House Bill 213 - 132nd General Assembly Every partnership, corporation, or association which employs, retains, or engages the services of a person licensed, registered, or certified under this chapter, whether the certificate holder, registrant, or licensee is an independent contractor or under the supervision or control of the partnership, corporation, or association, is jointly and severally liable for any damages incurred by any person as a result of an act or omission concerning a state-certified or state-licensed real estate appraisal report prepared or facilitated in the preparation by a certificate holder, registrant, or licensee while employed, retained, or engaged by the partnership, corporation, or association.
