Effective: March 13, 2013 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 301 - 129th General Assembly The secretary of the state medical board shall enforce this chapter and the rules adopted under it. If the secretary has knowledge or notice of a violation, the secretary shall investigate the matter, and, upon probable cause appearing, file a complaint and prosecute the offender. When requested by the secretary, the prosecuting attorney of the proper county shall take charge of and conduct such prosecution.
