Effective: April 10, 2001 Latest Legislation: House Bill 585 - 123rd General Assembly (A) This chapter does not apply to or prohibit in any way the administration of anesthesia by a certified registered nurse anesthetist under the direction of and in the immediate presence of an individual authorized by this chapter to practice medicine and surgery, osteopathic medicine and surgery, or podiatric medicine and surgery. (B) This chapter does not prohibit an individual from practicing as an anesthesiologist assistant in accordance with Chapter 4760. of the Revised Code.
