Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly If the defendant named in any certified copy of a judgment, conviction, or order of bail forfeiture reported to the registrar of motor vehicles is a nonresident, the registrar shall transmit a certified copy of the judgment, conviction, or order of bail forfeiture to the official in charge of the issuance of licenses and registration of the state of which the defendant is a resident.
