Effective: January 1, 2004 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 123 - 124th General Assembly (A) Manufacturers and importers shall appoint and authorize agents who shall sign manufacturer's or importer's certificates. The registrar of motor vehicles may require that a certified copy of a list containing the names and the facsimile signatures of the authorized agents be furnished the registrar and be forwarded to each clerk of the court of common pleas in the respective counties within the state, and the registrar may prescribe the form of authorization to be used by manufacturers or importers and the method of certification of the names of said agents. (B) Whoever violates this section shall be fined not more than two hundred dollars, imprisoned not more than ninety days, or both.
