Effective: October 3, 2023 Latest Legislation: House Bill 33 - 135th General Assembly A nonprofit organization that does not meet the definition of employer for purposes of this chapter pursuant to division (A)(1)(a) of section 4141.01 of the Revised Code, and that does not elect to become an employer subject to this chapter pursuant to division (A)(4) of section 4141.01 of the Revised Code, shall notify the organization's employees upon hiring that the organization, and the employee's employment with the organization, are exempt from this chapter.
