Effective: September 29, 2023 Latest Legislation: House Bill 31 - 135th General Assembly Whenever an employer fails to pay a premium due and the administrator of workers' compensation determines the employer's account to be uncollectible, the administrator shall cover the default from the state insurance fund. Thereafter, the employer shall be considered a noncomplying employer under this chapter and shall not be entitled to the benefits and protection of this chapter.
