Effective: September 10, 2012 Latest Legislation: House Bill 487 - 129th General Assembly All welding and brazing of metallic piping systems shall be performed in accordance with section IX of the boiler and pressure vessel code, published by the American society of mechanical engineers. The owner shall maintain, at the job site, the certified performance qualification records of all welders and brazers employed at the facility. The owner shall submit copies of all certified welding and brazing procedure specifications, procedure qualification records, and performance qualification records for building services piping for review to the superintendent of industrial compliance in the department of commerce in accordance with rules the superintendent adopts. The submission shall be accompanied by the fee the superintendent establishes.
