Effective: September 9, 1957 Latest Legislation: House Bill 312 - 102nd General Assembly In the event of a vacancy in the office of the superintendent of insurance, or in the absence or disability of that officer, or when so directed by the superintendent, the deputy superintendent of insurance shall perform all the duties of the superintendent. In the absence of the superintendent and the deputy superintendent, and when so directed by the superintendent, either assistant superintendent shall perform all the duties of the superintendent. The deputy superintendent, or either assistant superintendent, may serve upon any board or commission of which the superintendent is a member.
