Effective: September 3, 1996 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 240 - 121st General Assembly The Ohio athletic commission shall appoint from among licensed referees, physicians, timekeepers, and judges the officials for public boxing matches and exhibitions held under sections 3773.31 to 3773.57 of the Revised Code. These officials shall be employed by the commission as provided in section 3773.56 of the Revised Code and shall be paid by the person conducting the match or exhibition.
