Effective: September 29, 2017 Latest Legislation: House Bill 49 - 132nd General Assembly The director of health, in consultation with the individual authorized by the governor to act as the state historic preservation officer, shall develop recommendations for controlling lead hazards that take into consideration the historic nature of the property in which the hazards are located. The director shall provide periodic notifications of the recommendations to all persons licensed under this chapter. All lead hazard control orders issued under section 3742.37 of the Revised Code shall inform the recipient of the recommendations developed under this section. In no event shall a person use the recommendations as justification for refusing to comply with a lead hazard control order issued under section 3742.37 of the Revised Code.
