Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The board of health in a city health district shall elect one of its number president pro tempore, who shall preside in the absence of the chief executive and shall perform all duties incumbent upon the president. The board shall meet at least once in each calendar month for the transaction of business, and as much oftener as is necessary for the prompt and thorough transaction of its business. Special meetings of the board shall be called by the president or three members thereof.
