Effective: September 29, 2013 Latest Legislation: House Bill 59 - 130th General Assembly (A) As used in this section: "Candidate," "campaign committee," and "contribution" have the same meanings as in section 3517.01 of the Revised Code. "Medicaid provider" has the same meaning as in section 5164.01 of the Revised Code. (B) No candidate for the office of attorney general or county prosecutor or such a candidate's campaign committee shall knowingly accept any contribution from a medicaid provider or from any person having an ownership interest in the medicaid provider. (C) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
