Effective: August 28, 2002 Latest Legislation: House Bill 402 - 124th General Assembly When any officer charged with the enforcement of child labor laws discovers any child who in the officer's judgment is under fourteen years of age employed by a person who is not the parent or guardian of such child, the officer may cause such child to discontinue employment until satisfactory proof of lawful age is furnished.
