Effective: October 3, 2023 Latest Legislation: House Bill 33 - 135th General Assembly In determining how best to provide transportation, where persons or firms on or after April 1, 1965, were providing transportation to and from schools pursuant to contracts with persons or agencies responsible for the operation of such schools, the board of education responsible for transportation in accordance with section 3327.01 of the Revised Code shall give preference if economically feasible during the term of any such contract to the firm or person providing such transportation. The boards of education within the county or group of counties shall establish transportation routes, schedules, and utilization of transportation equipment.
