Extension of Educator License for Members of Armed Forces.

A member of the national guard or a member of a reserve component of the armed forces of the United States who is called to active duty and who, at the time of deployment, holds a valid educator license under this chapter is entitled to have the license extended for a period of time commensurate with the length of active duty service, provided the educator is honorably released from such active duty service. No extension granted pursuant to this section in any year shall be deemed to have expired before the next following thirtieth day of June.
As used in this section, "active duty" has the same meaning as in section 5919.34 of the Revised Code.
