Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The county auditor of each county shall collect all fines and other money for the support of common schools in his county, and pay them to the county treasurer. He also must inspect all accounts of interest accruing on account of lands reserved by congress in each township for school purposes, or other school lands, whether it is payable by the state or by the debtors; and take all proper measures to secure to each school district in his county the full amount of school funds to which it is entitled.
