Effective: December 14, 2021 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 229 - 134th General Assembly Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in section 3314.26 of the Revised Code, no student enrolled in an internet- or computer-based community school shall be subject to automatic withdrawal who, in any school year prior to the 2021-2022 school year, failed to participate in the spring administration of any assessment prescribed under section 3301.0710 or 3301.0712 of the Revised Code for the student's grade level and was not excused from the assessment pursuant to division (C)(1) or (3) of section 3301.0711 of the Revised Code, regardless of whether a waiver was granted for the student under division (E) of section 3317.03 of the Revised Code. Accordingly, the 2021-2022 school year shall constitute the first year of the two consecutive years of enrollment for students enrolled in internet- or computer-based schools under section 3314.26 of the Revised Code.
