Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly All boards of education, all proprietors or principals of private schools, and all authorities in control of parochial schools or other educational institutions shall display the United States flag, not less than five feet in length, over, near, or within all schoolhouses under their control, during each day such schools are in session. No person, having control of any schoolhouse or other educational institution either as an individual or in connection with any person, shall neglect or refuse to carry out this section. Each day of such refusal or neglect constitutes a separate offense.
