Parental Notification of Student Assessment Results.

(A) As used in this section:
(1) "Parent" has the same meaning as in section 3313.98 of the Revised Code.
(2) "State assessment" means an achievement assessment prescribed under section 3301.0710 of the Revised Code or an end-of-course examination under section 3301.0712 of the Revised Code.
(B) Not later than the thirtieth day of June each school year, each school district and chartered nonpublic school shall provide a student's parents with the student's score on any state assessment administered to the student in that school year by doing either of the following:
(1) Sending the scores to the parent by mail or electronic mail;
(2) Posting the scores in a secure portal on the district's or school's web site that the parent may access.
