Effective: September 29, 2011 Latest Legislation: House Bill 153 - 129th General Assembly The county automatic data processing board shall coordinate the use of all automatic or electronic data processing or record-keeping equipment, software, or services in use throughout the county offices at the time the board is established. The board may, in writing, authorize any county office to contract for automatic or electronic data processing or record-keeping services, or operate or acquire automatic or electronic data processing or record-keeping equipment, where the board determines such action is desirable. The authorization shall be signed by a majority of the members of the board and shall be filed in the office of the board of county commissioners. The county automatic data processing board may establish an automatic data processing center which shall provide a centralized system for the use of automatic or electronic data processing or record-keeping equipment, software, or services for all county offices.
