Effective: April 5, 1991 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 263 - 118th General Assembly A board of county commissioners may purchase real estate at public auction by designating an individual to represent the board and tender bids at the auction, subject to a maximum purchase amount established by the board or an appraisal obtained prior to sale. A purchase made under this section is subject to division (D) of section 5705.41 of the Revised Code.
