Effective: September 17, 1957 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 403 - 102nd General Assembly No change in or departure from the text or maps as certified by the county rural zoning commission, shall be made by the board of county commissioners unless it is first resubmitted to the county rural zoning commission for approval, disapproval, or suggestions. Upon receipt of the recommendations of the county rural zoning commission regarding the proposed changes, the board of county commissioners shall hold a second public hearing, at least ten days notice of the time and place of which shall be given by one publication in one or more newspapers of general circulation in the townships affected. If such changes are disapproved by the zoning commission, the provision so disapproved must receive the favorable vote of the entire membership of the board of county commissioners in order to be adopted.
