Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly In addition to other powers vested in it, the board of county commissioners of any county may provide for needy persons in the county, whose condition requires it, such noninstitutional support, care, assistance, or relief as they are entitled to received at public expense, and establish a suitable office or agency for its administration.
