Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly In case of confinement, imprisonment, or detention of a person by an officer, a writ of habeas corpus shall be directed to him, and command him to have such person before the court or judge designated in the writ, at a time and place therein specified.
