Effective: August 17, 2021 Latest Legislation: House Bill 7 - 134th General Assembly Except as provided under section 2717.16 of the Revised Code, upon proof that the facts set forth in the application show reasonable and proper cause for changing the name of the applicant and, if applicable, upon proof that proper notice was served, the court may order the change of name.
