Effective: October 23, 1991 Latest Legislation: House Bill 221 - 119th General Assembly Unless otherwise agreed by the parties and unless a party shows sufficient cause for not doing so, if a party fails to appear at an oral hearing or to produce documentary evidence, the arbitral tribunal may continue with the proceedings and make the arbitral award on the evidence before it.
