Effective: January 17, 1978 Latest Legislation: House Bill 262 - 112th General Assembly The court of appeals shall hear each cause in the county in which the cause originated, unless, for good cause shown, the court of appeals determines that the cause may be heard in another county of the district. A cause may be decided in any county of the district. When a cause is decided, or heard and decided, in a county other than the county in which the cause originated, the court shall certify its decision to the proper county in the district and make all the necessary orders pertaining to that cause.
