Effective: August 29, 1985 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 19 - 116th General Assembly As used in sections 2329.90 to 2329.94 of the Revised Code: (A) "Foreign country" means a governmental unit other than the United States and other than a state, district, commonwealth, territory, or insular possession of the United States. (B) "Foreign country judgment" means any judgment of a foreign country that grants or denies the recovery of a sum of money, other than the following types of judgments: (1) A judgment for taxes; (2) A judgment imposing a fine or other monetary penalty; (3) A judgment for support involving matrimonial or family matters.
