Delivery of Child by Parent to Persons Authorized to Take Possession of Deserted Child.

A parent may voluntarily deliver the parent's child who is not older than thirty days, without intent to return for the child, to any of the following:
(A) An entity or person specified in section 2151.3517 of the Revised Code;
(B) A peace officer, peace officer support employee, hospital employee, or emergency medical service worker specified in section 2151.3517 of the Revised Code, by calling 9-1-1 and waiting with the child until the officer, support employee, employee, or worker arrives and takes possession of the child;
(C) A newborn safety incubator provided by an entity specified in section 2151.3517 of the Revised Code and that meets the requirements of section 2151.3532 of the Revised Code.
