Effective: January 13, 2012 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 124 - 129th General Assembly No part of the assets of a deceased shall be retained by an executor or administrator in satisfaction of the executor's or the administrator's own claim, until it has been proved to and allowed by the probate court. That debt is not entitled to preference over others of the same class.
