Effective: January 13, 2012 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 124 - 129th General Assembly On the final hearing of a guardian's proceeding to improve the real property of the guardian's ward, if the prayer of the petition is granted, the probate court shall fix the amount of money and personal property that may be used in making the improvement. The court may authorize the guardian to unite with the owners of adjacent property, upon equitable terms and conditions that the court approves, for the improvement of the premises of the ward and for the proper management and repair of the property when so improved.
