Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly When a guardian is appointed for a person having a spouse, the court may appoint such spouse as the guardian, if it is made to appear to the satisfaction of the court that such spouse is competent to discharge the duties of such appointment.
