Effective: January 13, 2012 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 124 - 129th General Assembly Before the probate court confirms a sale by an executor, administrator, guardian, assignee, or trustee made under an order allowing that officer to make a private sale, the court shall require that officer to file a statement indicating that the private sale was made after diligent endeavor to obtain the best price for the property and that the private sale was at the highest price the executor, administrator, guardian, assignee, or trustee could obtain for the property.
