Effective: January 13, 2012 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 124 - 129th General Assembly When a person dies intestate leaving children and none of the children of the intestate have died leaving children or their lineal descendants, the estate shall descend to the children of the intestate living at the time of the intestate's death in equal proportions.
