Effective: September 3, 1970 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 460 - 108th General Assembly When a fine is the whole or part of a sentence, the mayor's court may order the person sentenced to remain confined in the county jail, workhouse, or prison of the municipal corporation, until the fine is paid or secured to be paid, or the offender is legally discharged.
