Effective: September 12, 2008 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 175 - 127th General Assembly (A) As used in this section and section 1721.072 of the Revised Code, "fetal death" has the same meaning as in section 3705.01 of the Revised Code. (B) A cemetery company or association may prescribe rules for the burial, re-interment, or disinterment of the product of a fetal death. (C) With regard to the product of a fetal death, on the request of the mother and in compliance with cemetery company or association rules, a cemetery company or association shall inter the product of the fetal death in accordance with one of the following: (1) In a single grave within the cemetery that contains, or will contain, the remains of a parent, sibling, or grandparent; (2) In another location of the cemetery, including a separate burial ground for infants, on a temporary or permanent basis.
