Effective: September 26, 2003 Latest Legislation: House Bill 95 - 125th General Assembly Each person, firm, partnership, association, or corporation that buys, sells, or deals in minnows, crayfish, or hellgrammites or collects the listed species for sale shall obtain, annually, from the chief of the division of wildlife a permit and shall operate under such rules as the chief adopts. A permit shall be issued upon application and the payment of a fee of forty dollars. This permit expires at midnight on the thirty-first day of December. Nonresidents engaging in the collecting, seining, or picking of minnows, crayfish, or hellgrammites for bait shall have a nonresident fishing license as prescribed in section 1533.32 of the Revised Code.
