Effective: June 30, 2007 Latest Legislation: House Bill 119 - 127th General Assembly There is hereby created in the state treasury the forgery recovery fund. The fund shall consist of all moneys collected by the attorney general from the resolution of cases of fraud or forgery involving warrants issued by the director of the office of budget and management. The director shall use the fund to pay costs associated with the reissue of state warrants to payees whose warrants were fraudulently redeemed.
