Effective: June 30, 2005 Latest Legislation: House Bill 66 - 126th General Assembly (A) Nothing in sections 125.60 to 125.6012 of the Revised Code shall be construed to prohibit the purchase of a supply or service from a qualified nonprofit agency by a political subdivision that is not a government ordering office. (B) Purchases made under this section by a political subdivision, as defined in section 125.04 of the Revised Code, are exempt from any competitive selection procedures otherwise required by law. Purchases under this section shall be made from qualified nonprofit agencies or their approved agents. (C) A political subdivision, as defined in section 125.04 of the Revised Code, may not purchase under division (C) of that section a supply or service on the procurement list established under section 125.603 of the Revised Code.
