Effective: March 2, 1992 Latest Legislation: House Bill 228 - 119th General Assembly Notwithstanding section 124.41 of the Revised Code, the appointing authority of a municipal corporation that has been incorporated pursuant to Chapter 707, of the Revised Code may grant an original appointment to a police department, as a policewoman or policeman, to a person who was employed on the date of incorporation as a full-time police officer of a township all or part of which was included in the corporation limits of the municipal corporation.
